Jis dalyvauja kuriant ir braižant brėžinius, rengiant sąmatas, prižiūrint gamybos projekto įgyvendinimą ir įrangos įrengimą, kuriant gamybai reikalingus įtaisus ir įrenginius. Jis taip pat rūpinasi gamybos linijos įrangos parengimu ir suderinimu, dalyvauja atliekant laboratorinius medžiagų atsparumo bandymus, rašo technines ataskaitas.
